“There has to be good reason for all this chaos.”

What are your fears and/or concerns right now?

Scared that I'm not taking full advantage of the opportunities in front of me because I don't know if they are truly authentic.

What have you learned from living this new normal?

To take things day by day. Embrace change. Don't be mad if plan B is better.

What are your thoughts on how the pandemic has brought to the forefront issues of racial and social inequality?

It's sad. People were forced to see what Black Americans face every day and then feel like they had to react or not... all via social media because you couldn't be outside. What’s even sadder is when we go back to our regular lives and the injustice continues... how many will still care? This virus woke a lot of people up. I’m interested to see who is still doing the work for change when this settles down.

Do you think anything positive will come from all of this?

It has to. People are looking at new opportunities. Black businesses are growing because they are getting exposure. Communities are getting stronger cause we are talking. There has to be a good reason for all this chaos.
