Finding Love Again!
Debbie and Dennis had both been divorced for many years and finished raising some wonderful children into adulthood when they met at a jazz bar one a faithful night. They immediately connected over their love of music and sense of humor (especially regarding their height difference). They started spending time together and quickly began a relationship based on mutual admiration, love, and friendship.
When I met Debbie and Dennis the first thing they requested was “please, no traditional photos”. They had both had big weddings before and did not want to repeat them. They saw their wedding day as a chance to share their commitment in front of their close friends and adult children. They didn’t want any wedding protocol, just a good time to enjoy each other.
Debbie and Dennis choose the Boathouse at Rocketts Landing as their venue. Having photographed there before I knew we were up for a treat with the afternoon light. It gives such a great chance to create some unforgettable cinematic moments that capture the authentic joy and love that this beautiful couple has for one another. As the night wore away Debby and Dennis danced till the last moment with friends and family around them.
Congratulations on your new journey!
