A Groovy Kind of Love
Christine and Michael are one of my favorite couples of all time. Christine, a lawyer, and Michael, a doctor, are in every possible way fabulous — SMART, FUNNY and CRAZY IN LOVE!
When we met for coffee for the first time they were clear that photography was one of the top 3 most important aspects of their wedding. They were looking for unforgettable images. What more can I ask as a photographer than a couple that values good work and is willing to have fun throughout the process? After a wonderful engagement session in May, we were geared up for the big day but there was one small wrinkle — Hurricane Michael (no pun intended). Richmond was expected to get strong winds, massive rains, and floods due to a September hurricane. Christine and Michael had booked Clover Forest Plantation for the wedding but the venue had to cancel because of the risk of power outages. Their rockstar wedding coordinator, Noelle Parent from The Hive, found them a new venue within a couple days, The Westin Richmond, VA.
Crossing fingers that the storm would not hit Richmond too hard we regrouped and made a plan for our photos. When the big day arrived their intense love shone bright and no storm could keep these two from tying the knot. It was a privilege to be part of this journey. THANK YOU!!
