Christie and Evan are one of the most wonderful parents I have ever met. Their commitment to their kids, and each other, is inspiring. We were introduced through Christie's sister, Elizabeth Thalhimer Smartt, and from the moment I met them I fell in love.
I had the privilege to spend a beautiful afternoon in Christie and Evan's family home in the west-end of Richmond, VA. After such a magical portrait session capturing the immense love that emanates from this gorgeous young family, I felt a huge sense of pride for being a parent. No matter how much we accomplish professionally it is that amazing legacy of affection that we pass on to our children what matters.
Christie and Evan's genuine spirit and dedication to raising authentically good kids give me hope for the future. Raising children is a tough job that sometimes can feel overwhelming, but knowing that you are instrumental in forming the next generation is probably one of the most significant jobs we have as adults.
