Some family sessions are just fun! You laugh and enjoy meeting a wonderful, and incidentally gorgeous, young family and end up with amazing images. That is the way that my Maymont session unfolded with Franciska and Felipe.

Franciska is German and stunning. Felipe is Brazilian and unbelievably handsome. They were expecting their second baby and wanted to have a family/maternity session on a perfect spring morning in Richmond, VA.

After walking around Maymont's grounds we found the perfect spot by the Japanese Garden. Under the shade of the trees, this beautiful family enjoyed being together and gifted me with some truly unforgettable moments.

I feel so grateful to Franciska and Felipe for trusting and allowing me to do what I love most - find poetic, authentic and unexpected moments in the wild journey that is family life.
